If you mean Configuration/Deviation List, then yes. The CDL allows you to operate an aircraft with small discrepancies such as: missing navigation light lens covers, small dents in the aircraft, etc. The discrepancies must be logged and approved by maintenance.

I dont think the plane will fit on on the CDL (planes are way bigger then that!)

No, that is a Commercial DRIVERS license. You would still need a PILOT's license to fly.
