Another user mentioned that the cost of living has gone up considerably. I've noticed that as well. Just last week I went out for a dinner at "The Dros" and the bill came back R500. My co-worker sugests that the country is getting richer. Is this true or not? I've never been good at math or economics, so please enlighten me!

I want to go overseas this summer, but I don't know when to book the flight. Of course I'm looking for the best deal. I don't know if I will get that by booking early (say 4 or 5 months before) or waiting until about a month or two before. I would hate to book the flight and then find it was reduced a couple weeks later.

Anyone have any advice on when to book an international flight? I would be going to Japan......thanks.

Really feeling motivated to live in Alaska for awhile. Other than normal route of regularly applying for work, you have any other suggestions?
Have you ever lived/worked there?
I'm especially interested in working at a remote resort, maybe waitressing or housekeeping, but would also consider fish processing if that's all I could find.

We are taking our first family vacation to Lakeland Florida (just south of Orlando) the 2nd week in June. The kids are 2, 4, and 6. Our 2 yr. old is special needs and can not walk. Looking for any suggestions for things to do! Clearwater beach and Disney world of course are already in the agenda. Cheap is great!! Thanks :)

I met him when I was still singing in a band in Bahrain. He was very close to our group because he loves to sing with us on stage. His favorite song with me was "Hotlegs." When I got married he even volunteered to be the godfather of my daughter and I made him one. The last time I heard from him was 11 years ago. I really hope to see and talk to him. The Pharmacist Lady walked into a drug store and told
the pharmacist she needed some cyanide. The pharmacist
asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?" The
lady then explained she needed it to poison her
husband. The pharmacist's eyes got wide and he said,
"Lord have mercy, I can't give you cyanide to kill
your husband! That's against the law! I'll lose my
license... They'll throw both of us in jail and all
kinds of bad things will happen! Absolutely not! You
can NOT have any cyanide!" Then the lady reached into
her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband
having dinner in a restaurant with the pharmacist's
wife. The pharmacist looked at the picture and
replied, "Well, now... You didn't tell me you had a
prescription"
