Hello.
I am looking at learning Spanish for when i go to the USA in March 2008.
Now i am going to California and i am wanting to learn Spanish.
Now i have a few questions.

1 - Is Latin American Spanish the same as Latin Spanish and Mexican Spanish ?

2 - What is the best audio cd for me to learn american spanish (mexicans etc) i have over a year to learn so something what is going to get me extremly knowledgable.

3 - I heard the Rosetta Stone software for latin american spanish is good but i also heard that after it you wont be able to have a conversation with anyone.

if i visit Dubai with a tourist visa, can i look for a job there and if i have found a job, how what will be my visa, is still a tourist visa or working visa?

Why should we, as Londoners put up with this? Its as if we are living and working in a war-torn cold-era type city! Why hasn't TFL done anything to improve the commuter experience? It can't possibly be lack of funds, as the fares are already the most expensive in Europe! As if the overcrowding, constant delays and exhorbitant fares arent bad enough! Not a very nice picture we are presenting to our foreign guests for the 2012 Olympics is it?

I am trying to find the correct spelling of the round advertising boards found on the sidewalks in German towns. The board is a place where local news, events, shows, bands, etc are posted. The round pole varies in size and can be a foot to several feet in diameter and I would guess 8 to 10 feet tall. It was named after the inventer who was a printer I believe. Phonetically I believe it is Lit-fa-zoil. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

It would be really useful if i could get the following questions answered.

1) Would Goa be really hot during March 15th or so. I mean During the second week of March, does Goa get too hot?? Is it advisable to go during March 15th or so??

2) How much would it cost for decent accommodation? Please do let me know even for the cottages as well.

3) Places to party at night?? I mean the night clubs in Goa.

I'm thinking about going on a cruise to the Caribbean but the website says that I am responsible for getting immunized against whatever diseases one might encounter there, such as yellow fever, typhoid, etc., and that I should visit a travel clinic to get the shots and an immunization card. But if I'm going to be in a resort area, would I really need all that? and do they even check?

I have been offered a job in Paris for a few months, which is great, because I don't want to stay there longer than 6 months anyway. The only problem is the salary: 900 Euros a month for 31 hours a week.
Does anyone know the legal minimum wage in France?
