British Airways are doing some really cheap deals at the moment. Check with Expedia to compare but book your flight directly with the airline- it's sometimes cheaper.
Remeber that the US airlines are not as good as the UK airlines (limited amenity kit and you have to pay for alcohol, also IFE)

try continental airlines, i go there often and the always seem to be the cheapest flights!! it of coures depends on where you are flying to???? and from.

just put 'cheap flights' into a search engine, you'll get loads
Recently, I travlled with delta and found them to be very reasonable priced. get some prices from other places, and _then_ check their website: http://www.delta.com/home/index.jsp
