In the past week has anyone gotten a brochure from Disney that offers 40% off a trip? If you did are you going to use it?

I don't believe I have received anything yet. But, I have heard about it. When Disney needs to sell some rooms that are still available, they will offer them at a really low rate with a pincode that they only send to select visitors. But, they dates are usually very limited for when you can go.

I am not sure if you are wanting to use someone's pincode that they don't plan to use, but a word of caution. Disney is very strict with these pincodes and each code is tied to that specific traveler. Therefore, if the person that receives the pincode is not the person that uses the code at check in, Disney could make the guest pay the difference of the trip. If this would happen, and I have heard of it happening many times, you would have to pay full rate. If you have to pay full rate you would be paying a higher price than you could get if you book the trip prior to going. Disney almost always has a discount of some sort out for a select period of dates. While it isn't usually as good as 40%, it is a significant savings. For exmple, they currently are offering free ticket upgrades, so you pay for the base ticket and get hopping and the waterparks and more option at no additional charge. I've also seen Disney offer anything from free dining to discounts off the room.

If you are still wanting to try to get the pincode, my recommendation would be to check at some of the Disney message board all over the internet. There are a lot of really good ones where Disney fans and travelers get together to talk about everything Disney, if you are going to find the code it will be there. Just be aware that you may not get that rate.

Good luck!
