I'm planning a trip to Chicago with some girlfriends, where is there a good hotel that's not too pricy (around $100) and near everything...like th shopping (magnificant mile), theatres, restaurants, bars...anything about Chicago would be good and places to go!

Unless you find special deals on travel consolidation websites, "cheap" hotels can be tricky to find in Chicago. You may find some good deals in the South Loop area (a Best Western there is likely to be in your price range, for instance). That is not the best area in the city, but it is rapidly gentrifying. Also realize that you can stay on the outskirts and take the 'L' downtown for much less than it would cost to stay right in the Loop or on the Magnificent Mile. There are lots of hotels out by O'Hare for under $100, most of which are either within walking distance of the 'L' or offer shuttles to the O'Hare or Rosemont stations.

Those hotwire deals look good. Also, there are 2 Best Westerns in the River North area. They are fine and either is a great location in the heart of the tourist areas.
Also, check out the Hotel Allegro in the Loop this is a very nice business hotel that often has great deals on weekends.
Finally, in Lincoln Park and Lakeview, these are great neighborhoods for going out at night and there are two Days Inns in Lincoln Park and a Best Western in Lakeview. All are good hotels.

I just booked a night at the Hyatt for $73 on Hotwire the other day for next weekend in Chicago, it's located on the magnificent mile. You can choose your location and star rating on that site but you don't know the exact hotel until after you've booked. I've always done well with it.

Actually, I know the area very well - I live in Chicagoland. You aren't going to find a hotel room that is under $100 USD that is any place good. My suggestion would be to find a location outside of Chicago and take the train in to go shopping and sightseeing. If you do find a hotel that is under $100 USD - beware it is most likely dangerous! Try places like Schaumberg or Evanston. (city names) They are good cities outside of Chicago and much cheaper than downtown. Plus, they have trains that will take you in town for cheap.

I have just started a website that list restaurants, hotels etc... in Chicago. The lists aren't complete yet, but should be a good starting point for you.

I don't have any tips about hotels, but a great thing to do with your girlfriends would be to visit the thousand waves spa (www.thousandwavesspa.com). You can spend 3 hours using their steam room, jacuzzi, sauna and relaxation room for only $20, or all of that is included in any spa treatment. It is SO relaxing!!! And it is a spa for women only,so it is great for just hangin' out with the girls.
