Hi everyone. Lately I'm obsessed with an Idiea about moving to Buffalo. Do you think I should? Right now I live in NYC (Queens), and not satisfied with cost of living compared to quality.
I don't know anyone in Buffalo. Can somebody tell what should I do? I also would like to find out more info (preferably from the people who live there) about the city.

My husband and i are going on a cruise out of florida. We live in Michigan. We can't decide to fly or not to fly. It's 18 hr. drive and 2 1/2 hr. flight. We have figured the pros and cons and still just can't decide.
Pros: It's faster
don't have to pay for parking at the dock
don't have to worry about car being stolen or damaged
Pros of driving: can see the sites.
can get as many souvoniers as we want.
Cons: of flying: delayed flight
lost luggage
Cons of driving: long trip
parking and paying
car can get stolen or damaged
Please help us make the decision.

Does anyone get the idea that in Switzerland, ppl tend to speak the language of their given region and maybe English? It struck me that the ppl in Geneva speak only French and not German, Italian or Romansch. Perhaps this is similiar to other parts of that country (e.g. Zurich ppl speaking German, but not Italian, French, etc.).

I am planning to relocate to Pune from Coimbatore. What is the cost of living per month and rent etc in Pune for a three person family.

Is it comfortable like Coimbatore? What is the salary for a middle level administrative manager in Pune?

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
Thomas Jefferson

The Amended South African firearm control act of 2006 dictates that all gun owners must re-register their firearms. The process is (of course) painstakingly slow as it meanders through the politically correct and inefficient South African beaurocracy, with no guarantee of a renewed license.
Many of these weapons, that have been turned in to the backward and corrupt new South African police services, whilst awaiting renewal of the application, have miraculously found their way into the hands of violent criminals and used in robberies and murders.
The cops are criminals, too.

The first 'civilized' nation to enact gun control laws was Nazi Germany, in 1933.
Before a population can be overwhelmed, it first must be disarmed.

We're going to India in June of this year, flying into Delhi. The plan is to go to Dharamsala, Delhi/New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Varanasi but we have a very limited amount of time-10 days. Do you have any suggestions on the best places to go in this area?

Hello All,
I am a 25 year old female currently living in the DC area. I have lived here mainly all my life and need a change. I would love to find a city where as a female I would feel comfortable and safe, people are genuniely nice and do not care if you are wearing Gucci or Prada, lots of outdoor activities but at the same time a great night life, and a fairly affordable cost of living. really do not have an interest in the north east or mid west.

while on this note: Has anyone just up and left? half of my family is here and the other half in CO. But the thing about moving for me is my mother. I am her baby out of five and it is going to be so hard for her. any motivational words to make sure I actually do it? or any suggestions that would make the move easier? thanks for your time.
