How is the filipino student different from foraigner student?

4. they make the assignments of their foreighner classmate in exchange of free lunch or snack.
5. they bring their foreighner student toa girlie bar.or sauna parlor..and they make fun of them..

Hate to say it, but local students study very little world history, and no geography of any sort (or maybe my wife just didn't listen).

Examples: Filipino workers are all over the world, but don't really know where they are. They have no idea of neighboring countries... My wife can't tell me if Iloilo is north or south of us. Foreign students don't ask what part of USA Italy is in (honest to God folks - my brother in law asked me that.)

As far as history is concerned, they may have heard something about Ilo Ilo, but most don't know who their first president was.

Their English is not at all good, (I'll never forget the newspaper story about the little girl who fell out of a lake and drowned) and with SMS messaging is getting worse. Their pronounciation is literal, and that's why instead of Hello, they write hellow.

enough of that... I just wish the local English newspapers would write proper English.
