Israelis are held hostage in a war zone by the Zionists thoughts which is based on wars and no peace. We all know that the native Palestinians must live in peace on their land too.
No one could NOT change his mind unless he has no mind. Occupying other people by force is losing policy in the past and now and has no future.

Israel used to occupied few places:
1. The Sinai desert - was given back to Egypt as part of a peace treaty.
2. The Gaza strip - The Egyptians did not want this area, although it was taken from them during the 1967 war. It was given parcialy to the Palestinian Authority as part of the peace treaty. The Israelis completely withdraw from this area a year and a half ago.
3. Some areas next to the Jordanian border - were given back to Jordan as part of a peace treaty.
4. Judea and Samaria - The Jordanians did not want this area, although it was taken from them during the 1967 war. It was given parcialy to the Palestinian Authority as part of the peace treaty. This area is dominating the center of Israel and can not be fully returned without a real peace treaty.
5. The Golan Heights - It was captured from the Syrians during the 1967 war. Prime Minister Rabin tried to negotiate a peace treaty with them. Syria is part of the "axis of evil" (a country thet supports terrorism) defined by the Americans. This area is dominating the north of Israel and can not be returned without a peace trity.
6. The south of Lebanon - It was captured from the Palestinians guerrillas during the 1982 war. The Israelis withdraw from this area as a one-sided act to the full satisfaction of the UN.

Israel is a democracy and the parlament is elected by the citizens (almost 20% of them are Arabs). The majority of the Israelis crave for a true peace with their neigbours!

Ehhh... was gonna attempt to answer this but don't know if i can.
Start out by saying i would like peace, but am more shifted towards supporting the palestinians.

THe land issue though....its part of that endless cycle. Forget about the past because it almost doesn't matter anymore.

Israel wants their buffer zone, people attack because Israel is occupying their land, Israel has cause for their buffer zone and to occupy the land.

Could do it the other way.

People attack israel, israel occupies their land for the buffer zone, people have cause to continue attacking israel since Israel is on their land.

My biggest issue with israel...well its with every country, is the government. They have a western style democracy, i think only to get western support. For some reason, if you don't have a western democracy, you are barbaric, but then they manipulate it. Minorities have their say in the government, the more minorities, the more of a say. So they try to keep arabs out to minimize their role in the government. Then in return, their life is miserable and they get frustrated.....

But then a few decide to blow themselves up while attacking israel, and the people that probalby would never do it themselves go out and show public support. Frustrates the Israelis and the conflict continues.

Both sides are to blame....i personally think Israel has to be the bigger man in this situation though. They have an established government where as the palestinian's is a joke.
Best case scenerio, it embarasses the arabs and instead of seeing who can kill the most, they try to show they are "bigger man ".

If you look back in history far enough you will see that it all belongs to Israel. Israel is surrounded by almost limitless square miles of unoccupied and unused Arab land and yet all the countries that surround her refuse to allow her what is hers. On top of that, none of these countries will allow the Palestinians any of their unused lands so that these "brothern" can indeed have a land of their own and live in peace. Why do the Palestinians insist on taking even more of Israels already limited land? I just don't get it. The other neighboring countries just can't "spare" any land at all but they begrudge Israel for not wanting to give up what is rightfully hers.
Israel finally agreed to give up the land in question a few years ago and Arafat wouldn't sign the deal. What does that say about the Palestinians love for that particular piece of real estate. It seems to be more about the perpetual fight than the Palestinians taking their "homeland" from the rightful owners.
It's less about the land than it is about denying Israelis what belongs to them.
Unpopular opinion? Can't help that!

this is simple. the americans and the british just handed over palestine to the jews because at that time the muslims were not united. this would have never happened if the ottoman empire was still running strong. when you look at history no matter who you are. you will always find that in nature it is survival of the fittest. (a dog eat dog world)in no way shape or form do i believe israel has the right to exist and neigther do many jews. hense the reason why many of them choose not to live there. there is a sect of jews called neuri karta (guardians of the city) they have a web page. that says in the TORAH the jews holy book israel is not to be taken back by the jews until the comming of the promised messiah. the reason was because of their punishment for worshipping the goldden calf. it says that jews are to obey the laws of what ever country they happen to dwell in. these orthodox jewish people say in no way shape or form are the people in israel right now true jews. there are zionist as well as christian zionists. zionists want this land because they feel like it is their religious right to have it. (so with this how are they not religious extremeists? i mean if you smack yourself in muslims land thousand years after you were banished and then some of corse you are going to start a major war) zionist christians support it because they believe that in the book of revelations when all the jews return to israel it is a sign of the end of the world and jesus peace be upon him will return. according to the quran christians and jews are brothers. this is very true. they stick together. both their religions stem from isaq. where with islam the prophet muhammud (saw) decends from ishmiel peace be upon him.the west will continue to support the jews because in my own opinion they would rather not give up their land and call it home to jews so they feel it is more justified to take muslim land. during the 6 day war in 1967 when muslim countries did get together and try to defeat the jews for unlawfully obtaining israel some of the smaller arab countries like jordan and saudi arabia sold them out contacted israel and gave them a heads up. these were the leaders and not the people. the west came to the aid of the jews and bam the muslims were defeated and along with that defeat the jews obtained even more land. some even in lebanon. looking at history we see all sorts of hipocraisy and america, england, who ever is in power at any given time is no different. israel does not follow any of the un resolutions it has been given. they feel they can do what ever they want and get away with it. so far they have. there is no human rights regulations in this country and america will continue to back them until america falls. there are many jewish lobbyist here in america and our government is in bed with these people. the people of this country are only brainwashed into believing that jews are the only victims of persecution. which is a far cry from the truth. brainwashing does not happen over night this has been in the making since ww2. jewish people brought much wealth to this nation when they took assets from areas in europe. some even stolen. it is a case of money talks and b.s walks. i hope this was help ful to you and feel free to look up any thing that i have said.
