Does anyone know if the LA's metro rail will take passengers from San Gabriel Valley directly into CHina town? like i don't want to have to walk like couple of blocks to get to china town.

My wife and I are going to Vieques (Puerto Rico) at the end of February. We are trying to decide on weather to fly or take a ferry. We are staying primarily in San juan but would be willing to drive to Fajardo for either method of getting to Vieques. Although I'd rather leave from San Juan for a quick flight to Vieques, my wife is scared of flying and wants to take a ferry.

I know the flights are more expensive ($45ish one way from San Juan) but the Ferries are only $2.00 from Fajardo.

Anyone have any experience with either of these methods of getting to Vieques? Is the low cost of the ferry worth driving to Fajardo? Is taking the ferry as much of a pain as I've heard it is?

I need some advice. In March I'm taking a trip to Punta Cana. My friend told me that it wasn't a good idea because people get robbed by the locals. Is this true? I'm traveling alone for about 5-6 days. I've never traveled outside of the U.S. and I need alot of advice from someone who has been to Punta Cana.

Me and my soon to be wife went to a Bridal Show which was giving out free prizes and we won a trip.Its an all inclusive trip 3 days 2 nights only catch was to get it is that we had to go to this cooking seminar but were not required to buy anything we just went and got the trip.The other thing is we have to buy the airfare and pay taxes.This trip is thru integra marketing group and checked with the bbb and no complaints show up for them.
This is a bonded company so could they get into trouble for false advertisement?

What I am really wanting to know is..... Is it a good place to go if you don't wanna be around nude drunks?? I'm not sure what kind of place it is, but I do know that some beaches are horrible with people running around taking their clothes off and paying women necklaces to take off their shirts. I DO NOT want to be around that kinda trash! It would totally ruin my vacation! Me and my husband are planning to go to Orlando to stay 4 nights for our fifth wedding anniversary. We thought about going to a beach somewhere close for one day. Any infoCocoa Beach? Any info on Orlando? Thanks! Also, I am new to this site, so sorry if i have offended anyone!

After the excitement went away I realized that being in a country where I dont speak any other languages is very scary. I plan to visit major cities in Germany, France, Spain, and maybe Sweden/Finland. Im not soo worried about french and spanish because I can at least try to speak those languages and its a bit easier to see what signs mean even if you dont speak it.. my main fear is Germany due to the harsh and hard to learn language. are my fears well founded? Also I plan on making phone calls to local clubs to try to get work.. this is a problem as they will probably pick up the phone in german
