Ummmmm is that a serious question? Think about that... Why would SOUTH Boston be IN the NORTH End? Although there are many parts of Boston that is south of South Boston. And also there are parts that are north of the North End. But it's south of South Station.

South Boston is actually south of the Waterfront District which is south of the downtown financial district but it is actually north of the Dorchester district (which is Boston's largest). It is a bit of a peninsula sticking into the harbor. A hill there is where George Washington put cannon that forced the British to evacuate Boston in the revolution. It used to be the heart of ethnic Irish Boston but has been rapidly mixing and gentrifying the past 25 years.

Boston also has a different, separate district called the South End.

The North End is just north of downtown. It was the city's chief Italian neighborhood; it also has been changing and gentrifying but
most of the restaurants are still there and smells of garlicky red sauce and bakeries fill the air.
