For all those who live in LA, does anyone know if I can take the new rail lines from the San Gabriel Valley to little tokyo? or any form of public transport to little tokyo?

Apparently, you can if you are near the stations.

The gold line stops at Union Station just outside downtown. From Union Station there maybe a Dash bus to Little Tokyo but, you can walk from Union Station, through Olvera Street or go down Alameda to Temple and you are behind the Japanese American national museum. The next block is First Street and the main street of Little tokyo
