I plan to bring with me 1 piece of M6 oxygen cylinder tank with 0-8 LPM click style regulator. It's an empty tank. Can I take this in my check-in luggage? I will travel to the Phils.

I'm going on a trip to N.J. to fish the coast. I have a lucky knife that I take EVERYWHERE I go. My best friend left it to me in his will after dieing in a boating accident. I would feel terrible if I had to leave it behind. A relative of mine in school for a commercial Pilot's License told me that I can bring it as long as I put it in my Luggage that goes beneath the plane(As apposed to carry on). What are the regulations on bringing it along with me on a commercial aircraft. Anyone know any websites that could help?

Ok, so looking to take my bf to italy over this weekend for my birthday and an early valentines present, but the flights seem abnormally high. Is there something special going on this weekend? I googled and nothing came back... Prices arent always this high to Rome / Venice just this weekend seems strange? Ta.

Seriously, this is ridiculous. If you take up the space of two people, you should have to pay the space of two people.

I am flying out of Logan airport in Boston tomorrow and I realize it will be wicked busy. So, I wanted to go to the airport tonight and do the bag and security thing before it got crazy. My plane leaves midday so I would chill at the airport overnight. Is it possible to check the bags the day before?

I am! I was born in Dickinson, but my home town is Bismarck, since we moved there when I was about 3 months old. I don't live there now, but I'm headed there for Christmas. YAY!

I'm trying to convince my parents to take my brother and I on a family vacation to Amsterdam. Usually when we travel we stay in the states and it becomes rather boring and redundant.

My dad thinks that the only thing to do in places like Europe are to go on guided tours. Are there things in Amsterdam we could do do / see as a family without guided tours?

Help please!?
My boyfriend is flying with British Airway on Saturday. The flight is still operating, but he was told by BA today that he is likely to be delayed maybe for days at Heathrow because they'll have to fill in people who have been waiting for two days. So my boyfriend can't get on the plane even if it's still operating. If the airlines keep pushing everyone back like this, will it cause a chain of endless delays??? How are they going to fix that?

Hi everyone!
I've always wanted to travel to Amsterdam. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can stay, stuff to see, etc...on a budget? Also, I am single, so I need places that would be safe for a traveller on her own.
Thanks!
