Travel - 17 December 2006

I'd be leaving India for Singapore (an internship - am being given 'Training Visit Pass') for around 4 months. During that time i'd like to visit Malaysia/Thailand. Now, do I need to get the Visa from India, or would I manage to get it at S'pore itself (please outline the procedure in the best case)? Wht will be the cost for the same in both the cases?

Whats the best places to stay in Napa Valley that arent too pricey? We are spending 2 days in SF, then to Napa for a couple days and would like to see the redwoods, but unsure if any are in the vacinity of our destinations (SF or Napa)...any help?

My tickets are booked i fly to china on in feb over land to hong kong with an intrepid tour, fly to thailand where i will be spending 4 1/2 months, but dont know what to do or where do goyet so many choices, working my way to singapore over land and then fly to darwin australia and agian overland make my way to sydney.

I feel a strong connection to England. After doing some research come to find I have many ancestors from England. I would love to live there. Between 1966 and 1970 I lived in that wonderful place that is Singapore. I spent 2 years in 29 Branksome Road, Jalan Katong and 2 years in 14 Jalan Tari Dolang, Jalan Kayu.
