I'm not talking about Minneapolis, it was smaller than that, but not very small I think. I saw it on TV once and you could see traces of the heritage in the local high school and even on McDonald's.

Lindstrom Minnesota is quite Scandinavian. A lot of towns in Minnesota fit this description.
My town of Mora holds the Vasaloppet ski race every February and is a sister city to Mora Sweden. There is a Dala Horse and a Klocka in town. There is a Dala Society and the St Lucia pageant was just held Saturday night.....you have to have Swedish heritage (blood) in order to qualify as a candidate.
