Chinatown, Soho, Noho, Nolita, Little Italy, East Village, West Village, and the LES would be a perfect day to walk. It is less than a 2 mile radius but you will still not have enough time to see everything it has to offer. Food is affordable everywhere and plenty of places to rest.
