The offences were years ago, but still would like to know. We are leaving from Toronto, Ontario and going to Puerto Vallarta. Does anyone have a 100% response??? Thanks for all the help!! :)

You can still go, your criminal record won't stop you unless you commit some kind of crime in Mexico ( please don't). Otherwise, if you have a passport, you can go. Have fun in Mexico!

Having a criminal record makes foreign travel illegal; this includes trips to the USA. If you are caught crossing the border illegally you risk being arrested, detained and/or deported. Foreign customs agents may also seize your property, including your vehicle. If you have been denied entry into the United States and/or have a criminal record in Canada, you will need to apply for a waiver for legal entry into the U.S.
My Uncle had a criminal record from 35 years ago and was denied entrance into Hawaii. I know you can not enter the US with a criminal record.
You can call Pardon services in Toronto at Phone: (416) 365-0722 and ask them about Mexico.
