A few years back I got a Russian Ruble bill worth 10,000 rubles, but since I only bought it for a few dollars at a fair in Brazil, I'm unsure about it's authenticity. Is there even a such thing? I haven't been able to find a pic.

ok so in march am going to australia and stopping off in thailand for 2 weeks beforehand. i land in bangkok. i was told its not a great idea to spend much time in bangkok. anyone got any idea's where i could go. i wouldn't like to venture too far from bangkok though because i have to make my way back to get my onward flight

ok. IM moving to hawaii honolulu bout in a month and im looking for an apartment. I've been getting some numbers from the internet but nobody answears there phone. they problably dont exist anymore. Does anybody live out there and can help me with a number or address of nice apartments near the beach, that are asking for about 1000 or less. I would apreciate it . Thank you

A while back i had a problem where i had an expensive business trip and when i got back to the airport after a week, my debit card did not have enough money to pay the airport parking fees. They gave me this paper which was like a promisary note to pay back the parking fee, but it didnt have a date on there as to when it had to be paid back. In these lots you basically pull in, grab a card from the machine and park, then simply give the card to the attendant on the way out and pay. They never ask for ID or your license number, nothing like that... so im assuming they have no way of seeing who comes in and out, short of if there is some kind of patrol that searches the lots. Is something minor like that going to be flagged in the airpot when im checking into security? i do want to pay it back, just dont have the mone now and dont want to be stuck there especially when im expected for work...im assuming i will stroll through there like nothing is wrong.. whats the deal?

Hello all!
I currently reside in greater Boston but want to move to LA to pursue a career in the film business. I plan on screenwriting, and at the same time holding down a mindless job that pays the bills while I get my foot in some doors in Hollywood.

Here a few of my questions (in list format):

1) Do I need a car in Los Angeles, or is getting around in public transportation good enough?

2) If I do need a car, would it be better to buy one where I live now or to buy one in LA? I'm not sure of the insurance and tax stuff in NH compared to LA.

3) I am looking to live in a nice, low-crime area by renting an apartment. I can afford up to $900 a month. Do you recommend any particular areas of LA that might fit my budget?

4) Do any of you have further tips on finding good apartments in LA, besides using apartments.com or Craiglist?
