I have been to Arizona, Hawaii, California, New Mexico and everywhere below NY on the east coast. I'd like to take another trip where there are gorgeous mountains, lakes, whatever. Yellowstone trip? Yosemite? Can anyone suggest a state to travel to or a couple in one trip? Things to do there?

There is a tiny bar, more like a shack, on the beach down from the Melia Cayo Coco. My husband and I discovered it with some friends one night on our trip. The shack was dark and no one was there, but as we walked up, the guys that run it, woke up from their sleep in the back, turned on the lights and started serving beer and playing guitars. It was the weirdest thing but very cool. We drank there till 5am. Just wondering if anyone else knows about this bar?

Going for a wee trip there next week.
Looking for price comparisons for food and drink v's British pounds (or US dollars). Ive noticed that beer (let's face it, it's an important sustenance) is about £5... (www.pintprice.com). What about food, travel etc. And what's the food like? No Google pastes please - personal experience only.

I was talking to my cousin who lives in Toronto on the phone and she said they have no snow there yet, but it's very cold! I thought they would have got what was left of that huge snow storm that just went through the midwest.

Can anyone tell me what some nice apartment or condo complexes are in San Diego? By "nice" I mean clean, quite, safe, appliances work, maintenance is good etc... I am looking at the La Jolla and Pacific Beach area. I wouldnt mind living in a community with a pool and spa and fitness center, etc, but it's not a necessity. I would like to get a furnished unit with 3 bedrooms and not pay above $2,400 a month. There are loads of places on rent.com and apartments.com, but everything that looks decent has been rated terrible by current or former tennants. Can anyone give me some recommendations? Thanks.
