i am looking for cheap property to rent in Carshalton/Sutton/Wallington in Surrey. It has to be under £400pcm, and it has to be a 1 bed flat/ studio flat so I can live there on my own. Any of you ever visited the PO valley, I mean the part of it where the longest river in Italy, thte Po, has its spring and you can see Mount Viso very close to you.

Six of my friends and I are going to Oslo for 3 nights in Jan and we are looking for a city center hotel that is cheap and warm, another issue is that none of us have a credit card so we would have to be able to email the hotel to sort it out, like we can give them a number for a deposit but we won't be able to carry the card with us. Has anyone been there and does anyone have any tips etc?

I am English and my husband is Scottish,

When my mother-in-law recently visited from Scotland she was saying that the scottish people are more friendly than the english. My husband obviously agreed.

She was saying that when workmen visit her home she would always offer them coffee/tea etc. She always chats to people. That in general scottish are more friendly.
