I've always thought it was weird that the japanese are always presented as loving americans. We blew up two entire cities! I understand that the younger generation may like us or our way of life, but what about the older nihonjin? Are there many old racist japanese who fought in the war and go around muttering about gaijin ideas taking over?

Dear all,Please advise me,I have recently got my first British Passport from Islamabad and want to register myself as British citizen at Home Office.How i can be register as now I am in Pakistan and not been to UK so for.Is it possible to be registerd online from here?Or i have to visit UK and remains there for Registration?Please advise me or give me the site of that registration.Thanks and regards

My father-in-law is treating me to a cruise down the nile at the end of January, when Ill be six months pregnant. Im really looking forward to it and am a seasoned traveller, having been all over africa and south america in the past. Therefore Im aware of how easy it is to get jelly belly when u r not pregnant, and how to try to avoid it, such as not eating salads,soups, peel fruit etc. However, now im pregnant in a little more concerned than usual. Is there any other precautions, apart from the usual, that I should take in terms of food and drink. Im planning to take some non-perishables with me just n case, but am gonna have to eat local food and buffets probably. Also, People on here have advised me not to go at all because of locals who may harass me and jostle me etc and have said it is not safe. What is your opinion? Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks
