My boyfriend lives there and i wanted to stay with him until next summer but I'm not sure on canadian laws on this and I dont even know where to look because everything i find is about visas and all that and i dont want to apply to be a resident im coming back to the US i dont intend on living in canada so if anyone knows how long someone can stay or has websites i can find the info at it would be appreciated

I will be traveling to Philippines on January..

Can I bring my laptop, cellphone, Ipod, or Portable DVD player with me as a handcarry?

I just heard in the recent that they have tightened the security that you cannot even bring water to the plane..

Whoa!! What else do they want us to do? Be naked in the flight, or wear some kind a suit that they provide for security purpose.

Please let me know.. I don't want my Electronic device to be confiscated and be put in for check in baggage.

Alse please let me know what or not to bring on my handcarry luggage..

A little birdy told me that Disney World isn't horrendous during this time because even though it is Thanksgiving, most people wait for Christmas.
Any truth to this?
I'm prepared and used to crowds at WDW because I go near spring break so thats pretty crowded.
Also I've been reading about some of the xmas events on allearsnet.com and some say they will be starting like a day after I leave. Do you think its possible it might start a day early?
LOL.
And are the xmas decorations out by Nov. 18th?

Anyone here stayed at one or both? What to ask for in a Waldorf room?

I've stayed at Essex House and found it GREAT, with the minor exception, as with many NYC hotels I understand, the rooms are smallish. ALSO, you want to at least be FLOOR # 8 and above to lessen traffic noise and SEE the PARK VIEW.
