The NTSA opens all suitcases. If you have any doubt about taking a legal item on an airplane, put it in your baggage and not in your carryon. Any questions about an item can be asked about in advance on the phone with your airline or at the check-in counter.

Yes, you can. I just to save you the trouble I wont put it in your handluggages. For detailed information about the things you are aload to take with you on the plane check the website of the aircompany, they should have a page with information what's not aloud to bring on a flight.

Especially in spain that's where the rain mainly falls so you would definately need your hairdryer
