No, I make it a practice to know where I am ... whatever country I am in. I have never had to ask what state I was in either.

Mind explaining why the question?

the only time I was in Canada I drove from Ft. Lewis Washington, to B.C., and got there at 2 a.m. so there wasnt anything to do, so we just turned around and went back. It looked just like Seattle really, just without the Space needle

eh? Kidding. I live in Montana so I go to Canada sometimes. I usually try to know where I am when I am in another country(even Canadia) in case I forget to say eh where's the water closet?

I have to agree with orangatan. I usually know where I'm travelling to, especially if I'm driving.

if they don't know how did they find the border in the first place ( did they get lost driving from Wisconson to Michigan )
