yeah im going scranton, PA as for my first trip to the states. im from dominican and here its too much sun* all over the year and trees and all that. would i be expecting the same??? or any more variety??

Where on the Big Island?

Three adults looking to visit the Big Island. Can anyone help me?
Can't decide what side to stay on - the Kona side? Is it hard to get from one side to the other by car, or is it too far? We would be staying at least 8 days in late November. Will the water be too cold? Interested in staying at the Mauna Lanai Bay Hotel (think that's it) but worried it could get boring for 8 days in one location, if we have to drive all day to sites. All suggestions appreciated!Thank You, Thank You!!!
