A city name is probably more helpful than an exit number. I think Exit 12 from Route 3 is Route 3 going towards Cape Cod, and it is the Pembroke/Marshfield area. But there is also Route 3 which runs in the northern area, and if that's the case, you'd be looking at Scituate area. Both are beachy cities, but they are in VERY opposite places! Sorry to be confusing, but the roads in MA often are!!!
