Are there any beaches and/or ocean coastlines around San Francisco or Marin County that are somewhat solitary? I'm looking for an "every weekend" escape, and it would be nice to find a solitary beach where I can just relax. It doesn't necessarily have to be completely solitary, because that's probably given to private owners, but somewhere where there's barely any people.

I don't mind whatever the weather's temperament is, just as long as there's barely any people and the place isn't hostile. A beach, an island off the coast, anything, I'm all ears.
