I am fascinated by the cult of Isis. I have heard that it still exists today but that it is an outlawed organization under Islam.But all Egyptian history and mythology s interesting. But i am not so sure that I can buy the bit about the pyramids being built by aliens from the lost city of Atlantis. That is a little too far out.

I love it!!! Until this day scientists do not know what the liquid that the Egyptians used to mummify the bodies back then, the mystery of how the pyramids were built? their knowledge of the stars. I can go on and on for days. It's just amazing that there are so many mysteries unsolved and it continues to intrigue us. I watch the History Chanel and they do specials on Egypt all the time.

Two 'n's in your last name? Egyptian mythology is like all mythology, it is in fact based on truth somewhere in the past. And it is facinating. If you like this genre, check out Celtic history or Greek history. Their mythology is just as facinating and brings up as many questions as they do answers. Enjoy!

I love Egyptian mythology. For years, I've wanted to go as Anubis, God of the Dead, for Halloween. I've also found Bast, Goddess of Cats, to be fascinating.
