I was thinking of doing a weekend away in Bergen, Norway around October 20th.

I have checked the sunrise/sunset times and they seem ok (sunset around 5pm before the clocks go back), but then i saw an 'average weather conditions' chart saying that there are only 2 hours of daylight in october there.

Can someone clarify what its like?

Going to the Eastern Carribean in January 2007 on Princess Cruise Lines. Looking for helpful tips on best excursions ( St. Marten, St. Thomas and Princess Cays.) Also would like to know how much a soda card costs (can't live without my diet coke) and any other info that would be helpful for a first time cruiser that is not made available via the cruise line. I listen to South African radio stations daily. And every news bulletin has to report on crime stats. Do we need these stats in order to point finger or do we need it to makes ourselves believe that the government wants to be open about it? Apartheid restricted the mobility of a person. Now that everyone can go anywhere, isn't it obvious that the crime stats will increase? And why is white-collar crime almost never mentioned in these stats?
