Driving on Ghats is really spine aching, all the roads
Hubli-Londa are in bad shape
Unless you want to feel the joy of bumpy ride
You will also miss Dudhsagar the majestic waterfall which can be seen when your are travelling by train

I have been both by car and by train....
Train is much better... 22 hours nd the view is beautiful...
car the trouble is that by the time u reach the most beautiful stretch of the journey u r so tired that u just want to reach Goa...

Haven't travelled that route but if you believe in the view that the journey is more important than the destination you'll enjoy it. savour the local cuisine and landscape. a little preparation goes a long way.
carry some ID papers with you.
general medicines that suit you.
water storage flask - large and light snacks.
dry fruits if you are going to take excursions at any place for energy.
keep yourself hydrated at all times.
promote local art and artisans by buying/leaving a donation.
let the vacation begin as you leave H'bad behind.

Goa is quite far from Hyderabad...It wud be a really long tiresome journey,If u Love long drive, it wud be really interestings...

its hard while travelling but when you reach the destination then you will going to find heaven
