Neither - its the furthest place from anywhere!
I know, I lived there for 3 years.
Birmingham is your best bet (I'm assuming you're flying into the UK) as there are direct train links from Birmingham New Street to Aberystwyth.
You can get a train from London Euston to Aberystwyth, changing in Birmingham.

Good luck - its a beautiful place but take a rain coat, umbrellas are no use to you in horizontal rain!
