I'm getting Lasik surgery done and I won't be able to go into the water for about 3 weeks. However I want to go on vacation to someplace cool that doesn't include water as soon as possible. Any cool places?

Oh, my, YES! Hun, go to Boulder, Colorado, and I can guarantee that you will have a great time. I go there every summer, and it's great. You can do water activities, there, but it's more of a mountain/hiking kind of place. There are tons of great mountains, sites to see, and people. You can drive out to Pike's Peak or the Royal Gorge, or spend a day at Red Rocks and The Gardens of the Gods. Personally, though, my favorite place is the Boulder Mall. It's a very large strip mall like no other. It's a beautiful place filled with amazing street performers, neat shops from all over the world, and has tons of things to do.

So, that's my recommendation--go to Boulder, CO. It's beautiful, and I'm sure that you'd have tons of fun even without any water.

I would go to a place like Transilvanya because there's so much history to find out about the country itself, the ocean is far away and it's very cool weather also.

Banff Alberta. Beautiful mountain scenery, small town atmosphere, and right now, or very soon, its the rut season for the elks. They just alk through town all the time, And there are great golf courses if you play, with one of the hazards being bears, elk, deer andwolves.

Monterrey, California. Their aquarium is amazing. We've been there 3 times and never tire of it.

Also, Carlsbad Caverns in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Really awesome.
