I am interested in touring the historical sites. Can someone recommend an economical tour package? Also, night spots, restaurants, etc. for the 30-somethings? Best (and worst) hotels? Areas to stay away from? Thanks.

I will be going to Sicily in October and want to make a pit stop somewhere else while I am there. I know it will be the fall, but I am looking towards either Ireland or Greece.
( I have never been to either) Does anyone know of a good place to go in Greece that is still a fun, beautiful place even at that time of year?

I'm going to Sicily in October.
I know, I know - I missed the best time to go (Summer) but that's ok, it won't be the last time I visit. On a side note, I want to take a weekend trip somewhere else. Somewhere I have never been.
I've never been to Ireland and Cork looks really beautiful. Anyone know of any picturesque towns by the water that are really stunning and with things to do? Anywhere in Ireland is fine, if you know of someplace more beautiful than Cork.

My friend in Italy has been offered a traineeship with a company in Canary Wharf area of London. They have just found out that accommodation is not provided by the employer, and need to start in less than 4 weeks time. They are not wealthy enough to stay in expensive places.
