I want to apply for a U.S. tourist visa..i learned that one of the requirements would be to show sufficient funds to cover expenses in the U.S...I do'nt know what to do since i'm still 17 years old and my family can't show proof of funds that we could finance my travel expenses since the one who will cover my expenses will be a cousin who's working in the U.S... does it mean that i can't have my visa since i cant show them the proof that i could cover all my travel expenses?... my cousin has told me that she'll answer all the expenses...

I will be spending the weekend up in Seattle [arriving at Seatac about 1am Friday 9/8], and I want to leave any car dependency behind for the weekend. I am looking for a clean, no frills, quality establishment, with easy access to buslines into downtown [by easy access, I mean within 1/2 mile walk]. I'd also prefer a safer neighborhood. Any solid information is greatly appreciated!

We have been to the Miami area before and are looking for things to do that ordinary tourists avoid, or don't know of. It can't be too physical, because I'll be running the Miami marathon on the 28th. Thanks in advance.

What's the best way to go to Shea Stadium via mass transit from Orange County? I was thinking of taking either the NJ Transit bus or the Shortline bus to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and then hopping on the 7 train but I've heard that its not exactly the safest area to be in at night and I'd have to go through there at night. However it seems that the most direct way to go to Shea from where i am other than driving is to go through Port Authority....Is this the best route to take or should I go a different way?

I'm going to be in Reno, hanging out with my sister who is 17. I'm looking for something we can do together, or something we should go and see. If anyone knows the area, or has been there before, please recommend something to me.

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago but unfortunately didn't get the responses I was looking for..

I'm a 20 year old looking for a full-time well paying job, with somewhere reasonable in terms of living to settle and get my life back on track. I'm currently in California.. I'm looking primarily in the West Coast of the United States.. Vegas, Pheonix, Colorado, Oregon, Washington State, Alaska, etc.

Any help is appreciated..

As of a week or so ago I couldn't carry water or toothpaste onto an airplane leaving from a US airport -- TSA rules. What about int'l flights leaving airports in other countries, specifically from Canada? Can I bring my water and toothpaste back home?
