Well, I live in the New England area and it takes me about 6 hours to get to the west coast and it also takes me about 6 hours to get to Paris -- so I guess 12 hours would be close.

As there are no nonstop flights from Spain ( Madrid/Barcelona ), the travel time is something between 14h 30min and 16hrs ( or more ), depends on the connection you have.
