I am a american college student from Chicago looking to transfer to London Metropolitan University next fall for film.Its about the same as the school i looked at in the US. What will i need to attend school there? How will i get my dorm things there? Will my electronics be ok with a normal outlet adapter? Also will my Cell Phone work there? Thanks.

I am surprised that what makes you transfer to LMU, when there are other top schools in UK where most of Americans plan to pursue studies (LSE, Univ of London, ST. Andrews University) and so on .. LMU is low tier university and it's my personal opinion. You can have your personal stuff cargo directly to London, once you got your place settled, unfortunately none of the electronic will work due to different voltage, apart from laptop and you will need a special adaptor as well for plug in, if you have tri band phone then it will work in the UK.
