when i went to the park last august, i was asking a park employee about that and this is what i was told:
disney is planning to make at least 2 more theme parks. one of the parks is supposed to be a villians themed park. which i think would be awesome!

I know they're planning on building new parks and expanding the parks that are already there. I don't specifically know what they're planning on doing though. I love Walt Disney World and pretty much anything Disney-themed, so I was watching this show today on the Travel Channel, "Walt Disney World: Behind the Scenes." The imagineers at WDW were saying that they have enough land to continue to expand the entire Resort for decades to come. So, yeah, I'm sure there's more to come, and I can't wait to see!
That would be cool if they built a Park themed to the Disney villains.

Disney has many plans in its vaults for additional theme parks or additional lands. Animal Kingdon was supposed to have a land called Beastlie Kingdom that included dragons and unicorns. It was never built. A Villians Park has been discussed among fans, but there's been no word from Disney.
There is no official announcement from Disney regarding new parks or resorts. It is highly unlikely that Disney will ever build another park outside of ots Florida or Anaheim properties, because such a park would draw attendance away from the existing parks (which are having a hard time keeping up attendance).

Yes, I am a former Disney Cast member who was lucky enought to happen upon some documents I was probably not suppose to see and there are lots of potential plans to expand all the parks and possibly even add another park in the same area.
What will happen of course will depend on money.

I never heard about that Villians park but I bet they could come up with some awesome ideas for a park like that! I hope someone from Disney See's this!

There is a rumor--let me re-state- rumor in North Arkansas that there is going to be a Disney of the Ozarks Park. I am not sure if I believe it but people around Mountain View, AR sure think so!

yes they have the land to expand but i don't think they will anytime soon. there is no monetary reason to, they already have 4 parks and tons of hotels but they are not usually filled to capacity. also, they have a hard enough time staffing the parks now without adding more parks, there simply aren't enough people in orlando to work there at that rate of pay.

At one time, they were considering a large "water-slide"
park down near Miami though i havn't seen anything written
about it in quite a while.

I am sure they will. They are always adding more resorts and changing the rides and shows. It seems more and more people are visiting each year, so it would make sense that they would.

they are aways looking to expand--I think they are adding a "villans" park, but it may be a rumor.~~
