Salomon Storm Snowboard.
159 cm

Does it come waxed or should I wax it? What type of wax would you recommend?

I believe it comes detuned, but what should I get in the future for further tuning?

Is it reasonable for a starting package of snowboarding to cost roughly $300? This includes season-long equipment rentals and 3 private lessons, but I would still have to purchase lift tickets each time I went snowboarding. I am a very very ameteur snowboarder and I'm not sure how many times I would go on the lift. A season-long lift ticket pass is $239 at the summit near me which I think is ridiculous. However, daily tickets are $32. Considering I'd probably snowboard about twice a week, which is the better deal?

I have a choice between a centered stance and a stance that is about 2-4 inches offset towards the front of the board

I want to get her a snowboard for christmas because we both just moved up from the desert to high country were it snows lot and we both want to take up snowboarding. She has never done it and she wants to learn. She is a skier so she has some experience in the snow. I am not sure what size board to get her, I saw one for sale used but in good shape that could probably get for around $180 it is 152 size.

She is about 5'8 and like 130lbs and her shoe size is 8.5. So if someone could help me out would appreciate it. Thanks

2008 Blunt Primo + 2007 P1 + 2007 Shawn White Boots
What do you think of this comb??
I was thinking about going all 2008 version, but its little more expansive..
If I go with those comb I could saved 120$
What do you think??
Should I invest 120 more and buy Primo + Hail boots + Cartel Binder
Which one sounds better to you??
I heard 2008 product has many new features that is interesting

The question says it all. I'm looking to buy a freestyle board with a couple cms to work with if I want to freeride. Not a freestyle/freeride board...more freestyle. If that makes sense.

I'm an intermediate rider. You think 155 or so?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Which is easier to learn for someone that has never done both before: Skiing or Snowboarding? Please note that I am highly uncoordinated. Thanks!

Can you just put your rear foot into the bindings to get off the ski lift, because I have flow bindings so its so much easier to get my foot in and out, so I don't have to buy a stomp pad?

It's almost winter and I want to be prepared for snowboarding, I've never tried it but it looks too fun to pass out, I don't really exercise my leg muscles much, so my question is...

What muscles does snowboarding use and what exercises can I do to build those muscles?

Oh, I'm 15, so I don't want to do anything that will stunt my growth.

Hi everyone, I just purchased a pair of 32 exus women's boots in size 10. I normally wear an 11 women's street shoe, and so these are fairly tight in the toes - almost to the point of it being painful on the left foot. Are my boots to small? or will these "pack out" after a couple days of riding?

The "liner test"- i pulled the liner out of my boot and held the bottom against my foot. They match almost exactly and my foot isnt even 1/4" smaller than the liner. ?

I also tried on the boot sans liner. Definitely more than enough room there.

I'm really concerned about the tightness in the toe area, though. Should I Return and get a larger size? they are very tight and fairly uncomfortable when standing, and after wearing (walking) them around all laced up for about an hour last night in my house i experienced some slight numbess, but I'm not sure if it was a direct effect from the boot because my feet and hands are always falling asleep and cold!

please help!! :(
