A general rule is between your chin and nose, but that is just a general rule if you are height / weight proportionate. More correctly, it depends on your weight and what kind of riding you are going to do.
Most manufacturers list weight ranges for each size within a particular model so check those when shopping for a new board. Where do you like to ride? A shorter board will be easier to make quick turns in the park but won't ride as nice at higher speeds out on the runs.
Try this great snowboard size calculator on the web that also gives recommendations:

A rough guess for your height (if you are height / weight proportionate) would be a 158cm. I'm 5'11" 185lbs and I ride a 158 and a 161. Do you have a Sports Authority near you? They have a good pre-season sale now. I would suggest a Ride or K2 board.
Also, if you have size 11 or larger, you will probably need a "wide" board - you don't want your toes and heels to drag when turning. If you are right at size 11, put your boots on the board and see how far they hang over. You can get bindings with "lifters" built in that lift your boot higher off the board and prevent your boot from touching in most conditions.
Good Luck

i couldn't exactly tell you, because height does not affect the size snowboard you should ride. The rental shops tell you it should be between your chin and your nose to get you set up quickly. However, this only works if you are average build. If your just a little skinny or chubby for your height it won't be accurate. The further off from average build you are, the worse it will work.
What actually affects what size snowboard your ride is your weight. Email me your weight via my answers profile thing and I can send you a good range of boards to look at when your shopping for a snow-stick.

I'm about the same height and ride mostly park, I have a 155 and 156. If you want to stray from soley park, then I sugest slightly longer, maybe 158 like mentioned before. Also I have a size 13 boot, so I got a mid-wide. If you can avoid it stay away from designated wide boards because they take longer edge to edge, and just make life a whole lot harder than it has to be. If you have a size 10 or smaller just get a regular non-wide board.

Im 5'4 and 115lbs and i ride a 145 i think (something around there) so maybe try a 155 or a 160. it depends how much you weigh also. if you go to a sports store to buy your board you can ask the person there what would be right.
