i was just wandering...i am in love with snowboarding!

I love snowboarding because it was easy to learn for the first few days but hard to master - you can keep getting better for years. I prefer snowboarding as you can have more fun than skiing in the powder, in the crud - basically everywhere except hard groomed runs and icy conditions.
Snowboarding in the powder is unreal - floating over and through the snow. Snowboarding is more constant in different conditions where as skiing requires different techniques in powder, spring conditions, etc. And as for doing tricks, snowboarding is a lot better.

I love snowboarding, obsessed would be a more appropriate term to how I feel about it. It really is my first "sport", and I started at 38 years old. Overweight, out of shape, hardly able to do much of anything. But I was determined to learn. I often say that snowboarding saved my life. I am active now, in much better shape, lost a bunch of weight. I'm healthier too. But besides all that, it is a great stress reliever. I love to listen to some good tunes while carving down the mountain. Floating on power is like nothing else. I love the view, being outdoors in the fresh air. I love blasting by guys 1/2 my age. Too much fun to list...

Im not a snowboarder myself but my brother whos' an ex-Marine is a diehard snowboarder. Im a cross-country skier myself, cant get enough of it. Waiting for snow.

Okay well i love snowboarding because i love huckin big air of the booters at my local park and i love goin gansta and pullin 270 on nossy tippy offs on rail spots. basically i just like it cause..well whatst there not to love?

i learned on my own, learning thought the bad habits, now flying down the runs is as easy as ever
the most beautiful thing is being on top of the mountain
seeing the view below is just refreshing and i can escape from everything
