I'm looking to buy a new snowboard. Should I get a Burton Custom or a Lib Tech Skate Banana Mtx? I'm still undecided. Help me out!

In my opinion, Burton boards are nice but are overpriced for what you get - Lib Tech, Ride, K2 and others make better all mountain boards for the money.

Good Luck

I've heard great stuff about the skate banana as well but I'm not about to jump on the band wagon yet. My suggestion would be to demo it first as it's really not for everbody.

The negatives are that it's not really stiff enough for the pipe and that it has extremely poor edge hold on hard pack or ice. Which means it's potential may be pretty limited on the east coast.

On the other hand with the Custom X you know exactly what you're getting which is an amazing freeride board that's pretty solid all around.

Don't get me wrong I'm not a hater (I actually ride a TRice MTX) but it's a lot of money to put down only to be dissappointed later.

If you like to get a product that is high in quality so that you get what you pay for, then buy a Lib-Tech. They make much better boards than Burton.

I would take the skate banana over the custom any day! Lib has stepped up their game this year and really come out with some great product.

The Banana is the ruler of all. It slashs through anything, ride great on rails, pow, park. The reverse camber makes it super fun in snow. I have heard great reviews about the Banana. Only negative is that it isn't too great in pipe.

before everything, i could in no way recommend burton boards to anybody, their bindings and boots are greater advantageous than actual, yet thier decks are quite undesirable (ive broke few too many). as for the Lib Tech Skate Banana, i does not, nay, ought to'nt say no to that. this is the board that replaced snowboarding. the opposite chamber exchange into the subsequent step in snowboard evolution. it may provide an outstanding sense on each and every thing from rails to trails. maximum park boards are not good on the paths, this board is superb on the two. maximum jib boards are not good interior the pipe, this board is. I particularly have the K2 WWW, or perhaps it particularly relies off of the Skate Banana. in short, ROCK OUT WITH ThE ROCKER, bypass with the banana youngster

i think the lib tech skate banana mtx looks like it would be wicked good to ride, i would chose that one. burton custom seems bland compared to the skata banana.
