I was just wondering what are some uses for these? I remember when I was in 5th grade, a camp counselor had one of them when we went hiking, but a regular LED flashlight probably would have sufficed. What else could these powerful flashlights be used for?

I'm getting my Concealed Carry Permit and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a nice pistol?

I already own a Glock 23C 40 Caliber. Not a big fan of Glocks now that I have purchased the 23C. I've considered Derringers but I don't really want something that small, even though my Father (State Cop) is a firm believer in the Derringer 22 Magnums.

I like the .40 Caliber, but I also have taken note a 9MM comes in smaller handguns and would do a fine job in stopping a criminal.

So I've pretty much made up my mind with the 9MM Kahr PM 9093.

Just wanted to hear other peoples suggestions, and what they prefer.

I'll be gone for a week, I'm going camping by a lake and hope to catch some bass on some new poppers I got for my fly pole. I also hope to try out the x-rap and shad rap from rapala I got yesterday, they better catch fish for the money I spent on those suckers. I'll tell ya how they work when I get back.

Let's say we're going on Safari in Africa for several weeks without contact with a town, with the goal of seeing as much wildlife as possible.

Obivously you'd need a gun to hunt food, everything from game birds to red meat. And as back up you'd need something in case you were cornered by a big cat (or similar pred). Bearing in mind the terrain would vary between wide open plains to rainforest with literally a few feet of visibility and barely enough room to swing a gun.

You were only allowed one gun.

Keeping all of this in mind, what would you go for? Rifle, shotgun, and what loading mechanism? What calibre or gauge? Remember you could be shooting anything from wildebeest to pigeons.

Thanks!

When your fishing crankbaits do you attach an interlock swivels so you can change lures easily or do you tie them directly to the line? What effect to the bait do you think using a swivel will have on the running depth?

The swivels I'm talking about looks like this-http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_6276_100010005_100000000_100010000_100-10-5

I think these clowns actually believe that they are great, big, bad hunters. I'd be ashamed to have my picture taken with some poor animal that I'd killed in such a trumped up way. If you can't walk the walk, don't talk the talk.
