my mother dosnt trust me with the sport so she always pulls me out ( i would never hurt anyone unless something real messed up happened i dont even fight back when in fights i usualy just move out the way and try to avoid them). I want to continue training are there any free online sights or good book or something that can help me

i alreaedy studied the bodie and its joints and all now i just want to know a good form and art that i can learn and teach me how to get rid of a threat fast.

We used to use lit candles as a training tool, the object was to put out the flame with a punch or strike without touching the candle or the flame. It was great for training the "snap" into the techniques.

The students loved it (only did it in seniors of course).

Have you tried this?

Do you have any other interesting training techniques you'd like to share ?

we have already tried mailers and door hangers but we have just opened 4 months ago and we need some more students. We are about to break even on our bills but were not there yet. We need about 7 or 8 more. And by the way commercials are too much money for us to spend right now.

I am a low yellow belt. And I should be testing next month for my High yellow belt. I do have a notebook just for my taekwondo stuff.
I also have a tournament next month. What can I do now to be able to be ready for my next belt test and tournament? I do want to try for the US TAEKWONDO team. But I have to be a black belt for that. What can I do to prepare for the US taekwondo team?

taekwondo is the only fighting system proven in modern war times. I always hear from military instructor to train like korean marines in Vietnam and Korea War. Undefeated by arms and hand to hand. Look up operation van buren. They document that firsthand US & UN soldiers found VC with unhinge jaws, crushed skulls, caved chests from encounter with 13 korean marines vs. battalion.David 'Crow' Losieu learned and used tkd, Fedor imcorporated into his training to improve his kicking. The place where i used to go taught tkd/hapkido/judo and they mix well together kinda looks like a ufc fight with heavy striking and grapling/ground game when we spar. But we also learn knife and gun disarming techniques.I know there are a lot of schools that might as well be a belt factory but not all are that way.Now i do muay thai (1 week)and the response i got from my first sparing experience was crazy beacause at tournaments most tkd places suck.

did bruce lee get his talents and genetics from either his parents or grandparents, because its possible to get fighting talents from parents and ancestors or did he just work hard non-stop, because he REALLY worked his hardest and maybe i was thinking he had an advantage by having genetic talents from his ancestors? did his father or grandfather fight like he did?

I recently enrolled my son in Martial Arts. What is the going rate? The studio is charging $195.00 a month. They told me that covers 3 1 hour long group classes a week and one private hour long lesson a week? Is this a fair price?

well my school is messed up there are fights at my school almost everyday there was one incident were a another school came to ours and it turned into a massive fight guys punching girls, girls were punching guys it was really bad and next year im in year 9 and there a lot of new people transitioning from other schools and grades two of my friends were almost about to punch each other today and ive also seen many fights outside my class because we sit on our port racks outside and my problem is getting drawn into a fight i do tae kwon do so it doesn't seem much of a problem but my instructor always tells me to just wind the person but that can be a problem when they could be punching me in the head so what should i do? and ive never had to use my TKD so far
