I'm going to send a tape in to Endurance and I need a great idea for the tape that is eye catching and that will make them say: "oh yes we must have her on this show". Any ideas?

I will be using the bike for general cycling and some off-roading, but nothing overly extreme, hence why I am only looking at entry level bikes.

Which of the following would be the best choice, in terms of my needs and the quality of the components used and the weight of the bike - I am also after the lightest model, so if any biking experts know which of the below brands makes the lightest frames, please advise! Thanks.

Bianchi DOSS 6400 Al DEORE 07

I am an avid biker going on two years now. It's spring so I dragged out my partner in crime bike. As always the same thing happens. It was a good ride, only about 4 1/2 miles, which I completed in about 23 min.(yeah horrible timing I know, third day back at it) anyhow, did good got my heart rate up and was sweating. By the time I get home I am ravenously hungry. Will protein curb the hunger? I also noticed my endurance is far better if I bike within a few hours of waking up, why is that? Any suggestions? Thanks. : D

I'm also wondering if this bike is okay if I wanted to go down a dirt trail in some woods or something every once in a while. I dont need a bike that'll last a long time- i just need it to be there for me for 21/2 years max. Is this bike good for that?

to see the bike i'm talking about go to this website-

I am going to ride to and from work soon and I don't think wearing a neon yellow top, a bike helmet and red&white Christmas lights will help much..

So I thought I'd fit two Molotov bidon flasks to the frame, to fit a sawn off shot gun just above it where normally the pump would go.. To snugly put two Magnums below the steering wheel, near the gear shift paddles. And to tie an M6 machine gun to the rear, cable it to a button on the handlebar that fits the bell, and wear rounds of bullets across both shoulders. Leaving space for a Katana sword of course.

However, I found that with all this added wight I can't corner as fast as I might want to. What is your solution?

I'm planning a trip to Banos, Ecuador. I was looking on the internet and I read that Puyo is easy to get to from Banos by mountain bike or scooter. I have a few questions:
1 Is Puyo worth seeing or are there better places I should bike to?
2 I heard that if I were to come back from Puyo and didn't want to bike, busses can pick you up and carry the bike on top. Is this true?
3 I am not inoculated for Malaria. Is this going to be a problem if I were to visit a jungle town such as Puyo or is the risk of catching malaria small?

Thanks a lot!!!

I'm having a hard time finding a bike rack to fit my car. I keep finding sites that sell a roof top bike rack but it doesn't include the crossbars and basic rack. There has to be a bike rack...any kind that can fit my car. Anyone have an echo with a bike rack attached? How'd you get it?

How did you practice balancing with your shoes still clipped into the pedal? Did you just go riding and try it, or did you practice on soft ground before going riding? Was anything (body, bike) damaged?

I'm thinking about buying a bike. I started on a new diet and exercise plan about 6 months ago and everything's going well so far, down 40 lbs! Besides hitting the gym everyday, I'm trying to rely less on driving for everyday errands and things. But let's face it sometimes a place is just too far to walk. So, I was thinking about getting a bike. I don't want to spend a ton of money but I also don't want to get something that isn't a comfortable ride and thus just ends up sitting there. I'm a 29 year old female and haven't ridden in a bike in quite a while. I don't want anything complicated, just a single speed, cruiser kind of bike for getting around the neighborhood. Any suggestions?
