Baseball - November 2007

We know Bonds will be on George Mitchell's report. I'm sure we will see the names Sosa and McGwire as well. Should these names be erased from record books? Supposedly 11 current free agents are on this steroid list along with dozens of current players. If any of these players names are in MLB history books for any type of record or milestone-should these records be released? Also, which players do you think will be on this long list?

should barry have waited to break the record? the giants and mlb's commisioner made their money from barry, let him go and now he is being indicted? i can not stand barry bonds for how he digraced the sport of baseball. he lied to everybody about his knowledge of the steriods he was taking. we all knew he was lying, but the giants organization and mlb's commisioner did not care as long as he was making them money.

I live in the San Francisco Area, i am a die-hard giants fan, i think barry probably took 'roids BUT...i do not believe us SF fans should be blamed and thrashed for all this contreversy. U no the people that are getting bit by this as much as barry bonds? EVERYONE in the giants management group....Tell me your opinion and/or tell me if im right or wrong..im only 13 years old but this is what i believe....

They are coming back with the same "OLD" team from last year. I think they'll make the post-season next year because of the awful competition ( besides the Red Sox, who else ? ) but get run out the first round again. Anyone with me?

There is something I don't understand..How is it that Barry Bonds supposedly now has tested positive for steriods? I Thought the thing was that everyone always suspected, but that they could never pin steroid use on him.

How is it that once any other athelete has tested positve, they certainly have never had the opportunity to say..OH I thought they were vitamins!!!!

Is it just from a Bostonian perspective, or did he definitely not get enough press coverage this year?

I saw him play at Fenway in May and it was incredible. He just fed off the crowd that was booing at him the same way anyone else would feed off a crowd that was chanting your name. And he hit .363 this year--so why is A-Rod's name thrown around so much more than his for MVP? He did make the All-Star Team and receive a Silver Slugger, but so did A-Rod...
