josh, his records only count in his mind, no baseball fan will believe anything he did after 1999. the proof will come out when barry does not get into the hall of fame.

Yes they should.

All of Babe Ruth homeruns count, and he was drunk.

All of mickey mantles home runs count, and he was actually a worse drunk then babe ruth.

Both were GREAT players, and both couldve been 10 imes greater if they werent drug and on drugs alot of the time.

In my opinion, WASTING talent and potential isa hell of alot worse than trying to enhancee it.

And it takes alot more than steroids to hit 762 home runs anyway. Steroids dont make a person a good baseball player

No one really knows for sure right now. They count, but they haven't entered the hall of fame, historical records, etc. so it is too early to tell. However, if he is convicted, I think it would be highly unlikely that his records would stand.

Yes they will stay. That's because the commissioner of baseball doesn't have what it takes. Unlike the commissioner in the NFL. But I don't care because he won't make it to the Hall Of Fame. Unless he visits it.

At the time being.....they do. i for one think that his records SHOULDN'T be abolished for the steroid rule was AFTER bonds hit 500. he is truly the home run king but....a few of them should or shouldn't be in record books

Yes! - Most of his homers came before MLB outlawed steroids. And anyway, baseball never takes away records - even the 1919 World Series is still in the books.

I completely agree with Yankees23, and I also believe that unless he is convicted, it will pass, unfortunately. If he is, I don't think Bonds has a chance.

hell yes they count..pitchers were on the juice too.... you think Clemens threw harder and faster in his 40's than in his 30's naturally..but it is really like the coke scandal of the 80's...if it is wide spread in society..it's wide spread in sports...

So far they do because he hasnt been proven guilty or not guilty yet and he has not been to court.

IF proven to have taken sterioids I sure most of his HR's would be taken away just like that olympic player who was proven to have taken sterioids and got her medals taken away.
