There is something I don't understand..How is it that Barry Bonds supposedly now has tested positive for steriods? I Thought the thing was that everyone always suspected, but that they could never pin steroid use on him.

How is it that once any other athelete has tested positve, they certainly have never had the opportunity to say..OH I thought they were vitamins!!!!

Kris (the first answerer) is right. It just came out this week that the goverment found testing samples in Balcos Labs. They were seperated by team and one of the samples in the Giants was labeled Barry B.

Why he got 2 thumbs down votes is beyond me. Apparently there are either Bonds lovers or people who don't listen to the latest news. I heard this news on XM's MLB channel.

He has only ever tested positive for amphetamines, which could show up after taking a cold medicine.

He has admitted, however, in illegally leaked Grand Jury testimony to have used "The Cream" and the "The Clear," but not knowing that they were steroids.

That is going to be the crux of this indictment. Barry maintains that he never KNOWINGLY took steroids. The prosecution has to prove otherwise in order to nail him for perjury . But how could anyone prove that. Even if an ex-mistress comes and and says the he told her that he took steroids. Barry could just deny it. It becomes a he said/ she said type of thing. So I don't think the government has a strong case against Barry.

i don't CARE IF HE examined advantageous!!!! You do comprehend that there have been an *** load of gamers get popped, ideal? My purely wish is that individuals would provide up appearing like Barry is the sole guy in touch. it extremely is as lots Selig's fault as all people. Wait till they throw Clemens call accessible or A-Rod..... I comprehend that the checklist is without doubt certainly one of the excuses he's centred so badly. There would desire to be an analogous aggression in looking all juicers in baseball, it form of feels like while a clean call comes out and it is not Bonds they throw it to the component. I nevertheless for the life of me can not confirm how Palmeiro ducked perjury quotes.

here is how it went down. bonds was a client of balco which specialized in developing performance enhancing drugs that could not be detected in drug tests. so how do you test this process? by doing you own drug tests that mirror the test that MLB require. through these tests balco was able to develop steroids that tests could not detect. the problem was that balco kept detailed records of these tests that the feds discovered. obviously through trial and error bonds and other balco clients failed numerous tests in the process of finding the steroid that could not be detected. the real issue is that bonds can claim ignorance to his grave, claiming that he did not know what he was taking and no matter who comes forward it will always be one mans word against another. as long as bonds is willing to lie to the people of this country and god himself he will get off on perjury, but the proof that he tested positive to anabolic steroids is now out in the open.

The positive test was not done by MLB - it was done by BALCO, the company that was supplying Bonds with the drugs. BALCO, being a private company that was helping athletes break the rules of their sports, did not share their test results with MLB.
