does A-Rod have to pay a percentage of his contract to Scott Boras?

Roger Clemens, Jeter, Abreu, posada, i mean is it just me or is this whole steroids scandal getting to be so that we can't just accept people's talent, we say oh they're really good- they must have used steroids.
also it seems just a little racist that the one black guy is taking all the hits for this, like mark mcgwire, he didn't get people all mad at him or anything. sure a few people were mad, but come on this is getting ridiculous. i think we all know that more than half of the players used steroids within the past 15 years or so, but if almost everyone did then the playing field was leveled. either way, barry really didn't need the steroids because any way you look at it, 760 is a lot of freakin home runs.
i'm not a fan of his, i don't even live in san francisco, but i just don't think its fair.

so i've always wondered..why aren't catchers better hitters? i mean, they are catching 100+ pitches a game with sometimes a lot of movement. shouldn't they be a lot better than what they really are? i know they don't know whats coming when they bat, but i just feel seeing the ball come in for 2 hours should help your hitting game somewhat.

Bonds will hopefully get what he deserves for ruining the integrity of the Great American Pastime, but at the same time the death of the legendary "Old Lefthander" Joe Nuxhall has only been mentioned in passing by ESPN, FoxSports, and the local sports sections of newpapers. While Bonds and his lack of integrity shows everything that is wrong with baseball, Nuxhall's larger than life personality, passion, character, and integrity shows everything that, at least once, was right with baseball. Nuxhall remains the youngest major league player ever having pitched his first profession game straight out of junior high school at the ripe old age of 15. As war decimated the ranks of men of fighting age, Nuxhall and men like him were called upon to keep the dreams of a war-torn nation alive. Nuxhall was more of a man at 15 than Bonds could ever be, regardless of age. Baseball suffered a great loss with Nuxhall's passing.

Now the Old Lefthander is truely rounding third and heading for home.

All I remember is that it appeared to be a dated film of the manager storming around, after a game, swearing and what not and the camera caught him throwing stuff in an office and what not as he went on with a tirade over something. Who was that?

He is one of the most sincere and honest guys around.

Is that person just plain jealous?
I do NOT have this person blocked, but yet he has me blocked?
Of course I do hate the yankees, after all I am American.
But I would NEVER wish any yankee (or other baseball player/manager/coach to die. That is just plain wrong.

.....I think it was a smart trade for the Braves. This kid Anderson has been a beast in the minors, and he made the most of his callup in '07. All the Braves had to give up was a middle reliever.

ERA with a little over 1,000 strikeouts. Hoffman is still going strong at age 40, and probably will pitch another 2 or 3 seasons and try to get to 600 saves. He should make it in, you agree?

All these long layoffs are hurting baseball. Very few series go to 7 games anymore and the competition is slipping. MLB made it's schedule to appease the FOX network so it could work around House and some of their other shows. Doing this has created longer layoffs than EVER before and giving certain teams unfair advantages.

Has the MLB allowed FOX to mess up the postseason?

For Coco Crisp.
And does anybody think the Red Sox will at least listen to offers on Lugo. I heard Jed Lowrie is really good and almost major league ready. Shortstop market it week this year so im guessing someone is gunna give the Sox a call about Lugo. Also, who will end up at 3rd base if we cant retain Lowell?

Did anyone hear this homerun call last season? I did?
well looks like bonds broke his bat and is going back to the dugout to get another one, no wait a minute, his bat is fine, he is going back to the dugout to get what looks like a injection of some kind, he must be in some pain or something, bonds back to the plate, the pitch, he swings, there is a deep drive, way back, that asterisk marked ball is out of here, that ball traveled all the way onto the roof of the balco pharmacy building accross the street, look at all those fans running for that ball, no wait a minute, those are not fans, those are federal agents, true baseball fans, anyway bonds crosses home plate and commissioner bud is bowing in a real tribute to the games best player ever, oh no wait a minute, the commissioner is not bowing, he is throwing up, wow, I guess those hot dogs did not agree with him at all.

contract? I say, yes he will go to jail. He won't be able to make a plea bargain deal, because he has denied everything a million times. He probably will be able to pull a Kobe Bryant and stretch out his case throughout the 2008 baseball season, but what team would want this kind of NEGATIVE PRESS??? I can't think of any. Maybe the Oakland A's might want him, but Bonds would have to be prepared to get paid as little as $500,000 next year. No more 18 million dollar contracts for Roider Boy. He is only 65 hits away from 3,000 and 4 RBI's away from 2,000. Not that any of this matters anymore, because with this huge black eye, he will not make it into the HOF for a LONG time. He'll be in his 70's or 80's before they let him in. He is facing up to 30 years in jail. He'll probably do 3, and get out in 16 months. He could always play for the California Penal League, like Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn from Major League.

The team with the best record has home-field advantage or alternate between American league and National year by year ?
I don't like using the winner of the All-Star game because some players, for whatever reason, don't play in the All-Star game. They can effect the World Series and their team isn't even in it. The All-Star game is a novelty, it shouldn't effect the
World Series.
