They have a better chance than the yankees, thats for sure.
With the recent addition of Renteria and Jacque Jones and the re-signing of Todd Jones we sure do.
We do need someone to replace Zumaya. That hurt.
Sheffield should be healthy and Mags will have another good year (not as good as 2007) and Guillen will be healthier than ever because 1st base will be easier on his knees and shoulder.
Look for Granderson to have another break out year.
Verlander will once again be our ace (he's 35-17 in 2 major league seasons!)
Polanco errorless streak at 2nd base will still intact.
Inge is one of the best defensive 3rd baseman, but needs to get his bat going.
Of course I am extremely bias.
I do know that The Indians will be fighting tooth and nail for that spot too, so it will be another fun season no matter what happens.

i'd not be suprised. they have the flair to score over one thousand runs, and probably damage the only season list. notwithstanding, thier pitching is extremely of a question mark because they choose Willis, Robertson, Rogers, and Bonderman to have better years than very last. besides, the bullpen isn't that good (if the in difficulty-free words good pitcher is Jones, you've issues). With thier flaws, they are nevertheless between they are interior the properly 5 with a probability of prevailing the sequence. those who like the SF Giants. they are going to suck this twelve months.

I dont know yet but we will have to see in the 2008 year. But i think that they need some more pitching and bating practices to get better than the world series champs from the 2007 year

Being that they aren't even the Best team in their division I'd have to say no!
Indians are better and have more potential!
Even if they get in they would face Boston or New York both will be really good in 2008.
As a Red Sox fan I wish they would just give Lowell whatever he wants keys to the city, his own golden seat in the dugout, whatever it takes! With Lowell Boston is the teams to beat, without him would give the rest of the AL a better chance!

I think they have a good chance now by adding Renteria, but they need to work on starting pitching. They will win the division.

Right now, anybody can make it there, but in order to need to do so, they have to have a good season, and make the playoffs by e-ither diversion or wild card, and they have to win both the ALDS and ALCS, and then they are in the World Series, but until that time, they aren't there yet.

definately not they are a very competitive team but lets face it, they had a good run 2 years ago but now its done. look for the Yankees who are on a new vibe wit a new manager, the phillies are now looking better with brad lindge added as a closer they will be able to keep a stronger rotation, all in all look for the mets yankees or phillies to take the title in '08

1B - guillen
2B - polanco
SS - renteria
3B - inge
C - pudge
they also have great pitching with the improving offense
they just boosted their chances but the red sox is still the top dog of the american league
