I didn't either, but it doesn't surprise me - Buffett is known to be a baseball fan (he owns the minor-league Omaha Royals) and is also known to be pretty open with his advice. For A-Rod's part, it's always good sense to cultivate friendships with a billionaire who has the smartest investment mind of the past few decades.

That was a big shock to me also. I never would have put those two in the same "social circle" but if A-Rod keeps going he will be as rich as Warren Buffet well before he is as old as Buffet is now!
